Our mission
At Tawe Editorial, we specialise in helping researchers, academics, and policy professionals improve the clarity and impact of their written work. Our team has extensive experience supporting organisations across the UK, including government and third sector bodies, and we understand the demands of policy and research writing at every level.
We are dedicated to providing high-quality copyediting and proofreading services that ensure documents are accurate, consistent, and accessible. Whether you are preparing a research report, policy paper, consultation response, or academic article, we help refine your writing so that it communicates effectively with its intended audience.
While our expertise lies in academic and policy-focused work, we also support other forms of writing, including business reports and professional communications. Based in South Wales, we work with clients in Cardiff, Swansea, Bridgend, Llanelli, and beyond, taking the stress out of writing and giving you confidence in the final product.
Meet the Team
Rob Ford
Rob is the Founder and Director of Tawe Editorial and leads on the company’s policy-focused work. He has worked extensively across the UK with researchers, policy officers, public sector bodies, and third sector organisations, as well as directly with multiple levels of government. This breadth of experience gives him a strong understanding of how to make complex research and policy writing clear, accurate, and impactful for different audiences.
Outside of work, he enjoys playing tennis, and following Swansea City.
Dale Coker
Dale is originally from the United States and leads on academic-focused projects at Tawe Editorial. He works closely with academics and researchers, supporting them to produce clear, consistent, and well-structured writing for publication. With experience in multicultural contexts and fluency in German, Spanish, French, and Japanese, he brings a valuable international perspective to his work.
Beyond the office, he is a keen runner and dedicates time to caring for several rescued cats.
